Participants in the Dixie Region come from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. All members of either the American Hosta Society or of any local society located in these states are automatically members of DRHS and are eligible to participate in our events.
We hope to develop new societies in our neighboring states, and increase the scope of our activities. If you are interested in forming a new society, please contact our Regional Director, Judy Burns by email.
